Yes, psd is the file format that you can make changes to. It doesn't flatten the layers and allows someone to edit each one. I like that banner alot, and I might just use it!
 BTW- What did you use to make it? I guess more than likely it was adobe photoshop or was it? EDIT: Very nice work, you have some skills!
