first thing you need to do is download the zip file from the first post in this thread. Then if you are using beta seven of vb3 you need to copy my code into the quote template wich is under the bbcodes group.

I've edited the code to work in VB 3.0 Beta 7.

Just download the text file. I've given full credit to the original authors.

The coolquotes_beta7.txt works for RC2 but itīs not the same used here (looks nice too but I like the quotes from here better)

EDIT: Sorry missed that this was another modification!! I canīt delete this posting so ...

Red face

i think that cool quotes realy justify their name..

i'm new into vbulletin, using vb 3.7, and maybe i'm missing the obvious but when i try to follow the install instructions:
[quote]1. Login to your Admin Control Panel
2. Find "Custom vB Codes" on the side menu (scroll down)
3. Click on "Modify"
3. Find the
tag and click on edit
4. Replace what's in the vB Code replacement box with:
(hey! what's the deal here? it doesn't quote my numbering correctly!! )

I can't seem to find the place i have to be!!
in the side menu of the admin cp i only see "Custom BB Codes" (instead of vB, but i suppose it's the same thing) and therein only two options:
  • BB Code Manager
  • Add New BB Code

and thus, no "Modify". In the first one i only see the spoiler tag i have added a couple of days ago and in the second one i still don't see the quote tag

hm.. is it my novity?
