I've heard this talked about... I'm wondering if anyone accomplished it? I'd love to have the ability to cross-post a thread to multiple forums, and unlike an announcement, it has the ability to be replied to (but it's actually only one post, and set of replies, seen across multiple forums). Any thoughts on this?

This would be great. I've spent a lot of time thinking about it though but have yet to come up with something that is fast and scaleable i.e. doesn't have multiple copies of stuff and doesn't slow down the board with lots of extra queries when the cross post functions are not being used.
