2 images for banner?

Running vb 4.1.12
May be a silly question but i was wondering is it possible to have 2 images for your banner.
One left justified and one right justified allowing the forum to change width?
I know its possible and perhaps in some themes already however i have a default theme created in the style generator and want to incorporate this.
Any advice or direction would be appreciated.

Would it be as simple as just editing the head code to something like below?

Have you tested your code to see if it works?

No i have not tried it.
I thought i would ask to see if this was the correct method or there was a more appropriate way to do it before applying changes like that.
I have not actually created the images required to do this yet.

This would be more appropriate.
This is a basic setup, depending on the situation and placement and surrounding elements attributes may need to be changed.

Spoke to soon.
Seems it works perfectly in Firefox but not in Internet explorer.
In IE the right image breaks out of the max attributes set by the forum where FF does not.
I have the below settings currently.

Document Width = 90%
Document Minimum Width = 900px
Document Maximum Width = 1200px

With the below for the banner code.

Any ideas on how to sort it out so IE can show it correcly?
