Adding Google rel=author WITHOUT using a plugin?
I've searched vb.org, vb.com, and vbseo.com and can't find clear instructions on how to add Google rel=author for the first post on a thread w/o using a plugin.
Can this code be modified so it pulls the G+ URL from a user's profile field, instead of a plugin? For example, I created a user profile field (id #7) for people to enter their G+ profile URL. Wouldn't it be easiest to have this code pull from the id field to add the URL instead of using a plugin? No members have liked this post.
