I have an issue which I hope someone can help me with

I am currently using 3.8.7 - When someone replies on a thread the original message appears they are responding to, however the reply content they enter does not appear.

I have tried this on four different browsers and this problem occurs Internet Explorer and Mozilla, however there is no problem on Chrome and Opera.

Could anyone please suggest how I can correct this problem??
