Im fairly good at php, mysql, as well as HTML, JS and so forth..

I was wondering if there was any tutorial or resource available that states the different templates used by vB and their scheming..

No, there isn't one. Although, the template system isn't as hard as it looks. Look at the names, look at the code in the file. If you're good at XHTML, some of the variables in the template should giveaway what area of the forum that template controls. If you have any questions on what template does what, I'd be happy to answer them here.

By scheming, do you mean creating a scheme? No, no tutorial. No tutorial can tell you that. It comes from what you already know, plus knowledge of the template system.
