Is somebody willing to code the following request?

Since I'm the administrator and generally do reply alot of threads in our forums, I am subscribed to several threads (over 500 at the moment). In forums/member2.php?s=&action=viewsubscription there is an option to unsubscribe from all threads and there's the option to unsubscribe yourself per thread. but I want to unsubscribe from selected threads. The possibilty for selection is allready implemented in Private Messages (forums/private.ph&ps=), but not for Subscribed threads.

I know there's an option to never subscribe yourself to a thread, but for some threads I like to be notified without having to manually subscribe to the thread.

Hope somebody will consider to write this, could be handy for several admins/mods.

Is this really difficult? I think many administrators and frequent posters can really benefit from such a feature.

I'm definitely interested in something like that! Some of my members have wanted that for a while, and after cleaning out 123,000 thread subscriptions recently, I agree with them! It would be great to have something like the checkboxes that private messages have so that you could delete a bunch of thread subscriptions easily. I'm not a php guru, but I'm going to look at the code and see if there's any way to do it without tearing my hair out.

I vote for this one, too! A checkbox like there is for private messages to selectively unsubscribe from threads.

Although a bit off-topic, but you seem really busy with the whole subscribe/unsubscribe thing. May I point you to a really old request of mine and let me know if this is a request you're willing to consider?

Well honestly I dont need such a feature in my board. I, as a Admin, prefer not to subscribe ANY threads and instead I changed the relevant template to get the all message (entire text) posted to my board. So I can monitor all the posted messages by email without visiting my board and this strategy saves me subscribing to any threads.

If you want it useful, I suggest you using this method. If you insist you still need such a hack, well, dont take it a promise, but I may do it for you sometime in the future. At the moment I have other hack projects which have higher priority in my mind because I need them in my site.
