Small postbit on short reply?
Hey, here's an idea everyone could use.
How about whenever a post is shorter than 3 lines or so, the post is posted without avatar user stats and sig? So only the name is posted in a 'micro' reply? It would be GREAT for conversation threads and 'thanks!' posts Hack idea of the year! --- If someone could give me the relevent db query function for [ if post characters is less than X ] I could knock up a minimal postbit no problem. Advanced options would allow for users to 'post with full data' for users who don't want a mini reply in a specfic instance. 'Never use/see mini replies' could be a user option and ideally the option could be forced on/off by forum. (that's a little beyond me) :nervous:
