I've gotta modify this hack a bit to meet specifications.

How can I make it so when they click on delete self, that it waits 180 days before deleting? Then if they login before that 180 days is up, they are met with this "Your acct is inactive, make it active?" Then they are given an option of yes to activate it again.

Any help much appreciated calorie

I had something like this on an old phpbb forum and a member deleted himself and rejoined at least 4 times. In fact, every member who ever deleted themselves ended up coming back again.

I could do with something like this ... maybe a cooling off period of 24 hours, just in case the user changes their mind ... or at the very least a field where a note can be sent to admin with the reasons for leaving.

Maybe make a few ACP options for this.

1. Allow users to delete themselves - Y/N
2. Amount of time before system removes thier ID
0 being immeditate and any other input in actual minutes
3. Email user confirmation email that also invites them back but noting they will have to re-register - Y/N
