Need something like caranddriver
I operate a website called Tristatetuners.com its a local car club for the tristate area plu like 2 other states. The guy I do the website for wants to have like a pretty advanced article type system I believe. He wants something just like when you go to www.caranddriver.com and they have the pics with a short summary and then when you click it it brings the full article plus a gallery of pics to browse through. I need help here please I can't find anything to do the sort already in vb.

search for GARS by thevbgeek. its a good article system and supports the first 100-words snipit you're looking for.

I downloaded it and saw how it needs a forum which ok I guess is alright but didn't see how much I could do with it. I'm looking to integrate a pic and also it seems the paid version MIGHT be able to do that but the problem is he doesn't allow purchasing of scripts right now. So that kinda leaves me stuck.

Yea I'm setting up a like COTM into the site using some stuff and I like it and so does my client. He thinks we could use the same format just a little tweaked for the articles. It might not be practical for a lot of people but for him it'll work and its what he wants. Though I think this would be a great idea. I really wish there was a really nice article hack VB 3.5 seems to having everything awesomely done except this but that is just my opinion. I really liked cinqs
