chatbox/shoutbox...same thing. if it's properly activated, it would show up on your forum home where all the sections are at the very top.
sounds to me you haven't properly enabled it. if u don't know where the settings are, it's disabled by default. they're on the top left of the admincp. No members have liked this post.

The default name of the chatbox is:
Chatbox filename: mgc_cb_evo But i saw there is an ajax version of it too: mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php Is the default one the right one? No members have liked this post.

Running 3.8.3 and just uploaded the latest chat version.
Everything loads fine - the chat box is visible etc. But when I go to type text and hit enter the text disappears from the input field but doesnt display in the chat window. But if I go in to the archives I can see my chat messages as being logged. Any ideas? No members have liked this post.
