goto your admincp, look to the left, click on the mgc area. And enable the commands and for the groups you want them allowed for.

ionCube Loader is enabled (seeing we were forced to), but from my understanding it was removed (requirements) from the chatbox on newer versions.

short_open_tag is off.

mod_security cannot be found in the php information.

And I understand that it's difficult to diagnose the issue without access, but I was hoping multiple people would have the same issue as me for a quicker solution.

yes i had tried that..
it doesnt bring up any errors..

i have since disabled the mod as its causing too many issues unfortunately and the users are just griping away..

so i await for the next update in hopes that it will fair better. with less loading errors and less issues with server being busy etc.

Sid, I'm not sure as to when the update will be released. If you goto our forums and submit the issue I can guarantee it will be addressed by MGC.

To check if there is a Mod_Security issue: AdminCP > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Problematic Webserver Modules > CLICK SUBMIT
If Mod_Security has "yes" that's where the issue lies.

Robert,

1. No, USERS can't create channels and that's not an option unless that user has access to the AdminCP. The reason is simple: Spammers and users could create virtually an unlimited amount, which would either crash the site, overload it or cause dB issues. It's a resource concern. Not to mention imagine 20 channels loading upon a refresh. Not wise. Only an Admin can do this.

2. That's not an option that I know of. It could be added I suppose but would be usergroup based. So if that usergroup has it disabled, all in that do.

3. I don't think the image is linked. You click the down arrow to the left of their name and send a PM.

I had to go back a few pages to see what your issue was. Loading issue correct?

Can you tell me:
Vbulletin Verion =
MGC Chat Version (with issue) =
MGC Chat Version (it's working on for you) =

Use Firefox (or the browser you want), and post what shows up in the error console when you view the chatbox and loading shows.

Probably under advanced or general settings. Go through them all and read all the 45092300332 (yeah, there is a lot of them) settings and if it's not in there, it's not an option.
