I've contacted the webmaster at autoguide. He says a consultant designed that for them. There's another non-automotive site using a similar system. I've asked autoguide for the contact for the consultant.

I still cannot believe how hard it is to get a mod like this.

If I could figure out how to make it that if a certain field is clicked during registration, it would redirect to a certain page. I am sure I could get a basic idea of this made up. That is all I need.

If I can't find the plugin, I plan to make a static page just like what these guys are using. I'll share that with you.

I thought these appeared to be what I needed but felt I should really try one of them out first even if it cost me $30 to do it. So I went to a couple of these and started to going through the process but discovered that these also appear to complete the registration process even if a membership isn't paid for. It's just another redirect after registering. What is really needed is for the process to start with the payment, then, and end with the registration not the other way around. Any ideas? Anyone?

These aren't intended to be a "paid to register" type of hack or plugin. These are just custom paid subscription screens that seem to pull the table information directly from the db.

As I really need a concrete solution in order to having this payment registration product done quite soon, I was wondering why not putting some money all together (25-30$ each one) and open a project in order to have a product or a module NOW !!

I think we can have some interesting money for a good coder from vbulletin in order to help us to achieve this !

I don't know what are your plans but I really need this to be done, I can't wait anymore and I'm wasting my time trying to adjust some products and trying to imagine crappy solutions (manual insertion after having been paid trough paypal ... )which don't match with what I really need !

The webmaster never gave me the consultant's name. I think we need to just hunt him/her down. This hack already exists, is being used on several vb sites, and is a pay product of some sort. Instead of reinventing the wheel, let's find out who made it and then just pay him.
