Original Modification by Hellcat
Previous versions: vB3.5.x "User Countdown Timer". vB3.6.x "User Countdown Timer". I have taken the original modification and simply edited templates to get it working with vB3.7.x Note: I did not write the original modification so support of this release may be limited. This little AddOn gives your users the option to show a custom countdown timer at the bottom of their signature. Features:
Painless:
This can be done by going to: AdminCP - Laguages & Phrases -> Language Manager -> Rebuild all languages DONE That's it. No template edits, no nothing Usergroup permission: Go to -> AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> User Countdown Permissions Members Usage: Go into your UserCP -> Edit Options On the very bottom you will find the options for the Countdown Timer. Set it to whatever you like, if "Enable" is set to "ON" the timer will automatically be shown on the bottom of your sig, set to "OFF" will hide/disable the time display. Count up's are vital.
Most of our users are expatriates, moving from one country to another. Hence we would like count up events... and count down...also count since

I had to uninstall this product, it kinda blew my whole forum to errors, lots of SQL errors and such.
I installed on vB 3.7.1 PL2 and got this error: Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in [path]/includes/plugins_usercountd.php on line 190 and some threads I couldnt view and I got "Headers already sent" errors. I don't mean to be mean or anything, but this should be marked as "beta" :\

Installed the mod correctly, had to rebuild the languages - all files uploaded etc. - i've set the usergroup to just the one i'm in and i've set the timer to my birthday with it switched on, yet it doesn't show in my sig.. any clue why it might not? I already have an image in my sig - do I need to remove it?

okay sorry, it does work but it just doesn't show under my profile about me section and sig previews.
Is it possible to create images for this mod? I've seen other sites do it such as thedibb etc. No members have liked this post.

It is currently 7.47am, i set a countdown for 8am (just testing it out), and it says 'Counting down to: testing
16 hours 11 minutes' it should be 11 minutes. Does this not use the users timezone? If it's using the server time zone then it's pretty useless isn't it?

I just put an actual period and colored it as close to the forum background as possible so that it showed.
But, it should be able to happen automatically without having to do that, I agree.

but i cant see any timer at my signature !! i , 1- uploaded files 2- import xml file 3-rebuild all language 4-set for admin user group 5-set to on at editoption and set to one day No members have liked this post.
