Just wanted to wish everyone an Happy Eid (for those who celebrate)

Those who dont know what Eid is, its the equivalent of 'Christmas' for Muslims, the difference being that Muslims celebrate the end of Ramadan (the holy month of fasting) and there are widespread festivities, exchange of gifts and basically a 3 day long festivity where everyone visits everyone else and there are feasts all over

oh the Eid day may differ between continents since the Muslim calender is based on Lunar cycles, so it is subject to sighting of the moon in a locality. So in Canada and North America Eid is today

so Happy Eid Aku...

it's always happy something for me anyway, i have friends around the world!

In other pics, the members of the congregation sitting on the floor waiting for the prayer to start. The concept of congregational prayer in Islam is that everyone black or white or whatever nationality sits and stands together, free of all social constraints or barriers...as it is said in the Quran, "All are equal in the sight of God, except in measure of piety, and the level of piety in everyone is only know to God alone"
