NAME: RSS items as posts v0.6
DESCRIPTION: RSS items are added as the posts of the choosen topic. AUTHOR and IDEA: zCarot (www.zcarot.com) INSTALLATION TIME: 2-5 minutes DIFFICULTY: average YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT HERE: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=261003 --------------------------------- DESCRIPTION --------------------------------- By default vBulletin 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 4.0 and 4.1 can import RSS elements as threads and announcements. This mod allows you to import them as messages as well! It can be convenient for RSS with the important information which doesn't required to be discussed. ----------------------------------- REMARKS ----------------------------------- If the thread ID does not set, than the name of RSS feed will be the used as title of the topic. If the topic still does not exist in the specified forum, it will be created with first item of RSS. i dont really understand what it does.
i thought its creating full topics which opens by the RSS manager. i mean users dont need to click "more" to read the whole content. No members have liked this post.

This hack just allows you to post items of RSS feed as posts of the thread. By default you can post items of RSS feed as announcements or threads of the forum. This hack does not change anything else. P.S. If you want to get all content from RSS feed of vBulletin forums then you can try to add "&fulldesc=1" to the end of the link. For example: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=1&fulldesc=1 No members have liked this post.

I am trying to use the rss with Http://www.portaliz.com/forum
But not shows topic only topic title Use {feed:title} {rss:content:encoded} No members have liked this post.

This RSS feed does not provide description. You can not get it for this feed without grabbing HTML. No members have liked this post.

awww, i see.
it is just wht i was looking for, however, i am also looking for some hack that could force the full contents display from the RSS feed....is there any such thing that exists?  installed nonetheless
