Inserting html tables in vbulletin pages

I am learning html on the fly.

I created a table today (sports team roster) and inserted on a new vbulletin page. The table itself appeared correctly, but when I open the page containing the table, there is a huge gap from the top of the page to where my table appears. I am sure I am missing some simple html language to place the table at the top of the page, but cannot seem to get it positioned there.

Any guidance/help would be greatly appreciated.

This has got to be something incredibly simple. Why would a simple html table show up way down at the bottom of a vbulletin page instead of at the top of it?

NM....apparently, because I was using a BB page, there was simply more html involved than the template could handle.

A link to the page would help.

If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template.
