Add Pre-defined taglist to showthread page
Developer Last Online: May 2013
Sometimes you want your users to add tags from a predefined list and this mod will add a list of predefined tags to the bottom of the page for your users to choose from.
Version History: 1.0 2009-11-15: - initial release by Lynne at vbulletin.org Notes: - Don't add in common words that will give errors if the users try to add them. - If you don't allow users to add new tags, then make sure all the tags have already been added - I have no idea if this will work with non-english characters - you are on your own with that. - I wrote this for my own site where I don't use any special characters in the tags, like ' or ". Those won't work if you add them to the tag list and I won't be fixing that since I don't need it to worry about that. - It works just as I want it to for me, so it's unlikely I will be modifying it or adding to it. Version History: 1.0 2009-09-13: - initial release by Lynne at vbulletin.org To install: 1. Import product-lynne_add_tags.xml 2. Go to Settings > Options > Tagging Options > Predefined Tags List and add your words into that list. See the notes above prior to adding any. To uninstall: 1. Uninstall "Add Predefined Tags (vB4)" Download Now Only licensed members can download files, Click Here for more information. Screenshots Show Your Support

It looks like they changed some stuff. Just do this... find in template showthread_tag_prelist:
Change to:
I'll update the mod when I've got a bit of time.

Any way to force a user to use tags before posting?

There is no default vbulletin option you may turn on that will force a user to use tags.

Would it be possible to make a mod do that?

I would guess so. You can make a mod to do just about anything.

Just curious.. Anyway the tags can be automatically added? I don't believe there is such a plugin for vb4 yet.

Sure there are ways to automatically add tags to your thread, but as I said above, this is not the mod for that.
