Any way to stop members from replying to new PM notification emails?

My inbox is constantly flooded with people replying to the new PM notification emails. This creates a problem for both myself and the user, as I have to take time to sift through them and their message doesn't reach it's destination. Is there any way to solve this?

Hehe. When you find a solution, please post it. It doesn't seem to matter that "DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL!" is right there staring them in the face as the first line they see in the message, they still do it.

If you want help, be very specific. Just saying "it doesn't work" tells us nothing.
Try a search before posting for help. Many users won't, and don't, help if the question has been answered several times before.
I'm more than willing to help in the forums, so do not PM me for help.

I had a similar problem
What I did I edited the PM phrase and deleted the message body, instead just show them the link to yoursifte/private.php
This way they will be eager to read the message and so they have to log in to their profiles and they will reply from there to the appropriate original sender.

AutoReply FTW here.

When a user sends PM to a particular email address(say donotreply@example.com) a email will be sent to the user reminding him not to reply using this email.

One option: yes autoreply

Another what I did, I removed content of the message, so now they need to check the message on my site and reply there...
