For clarification.
If someone has a notice of response to e-mail and is currently on the main forum is a modification from time to time refreshes and checks for new posts. If at that time to other users update that thread the subscriber receives e-mail every time even though not physically visit the topic. ps. I apologize for my English but supports the translator No members have liked this post.

Is there way way to use the vb cookie system so when you read threads/posts it clears as you read them?

Before I try this out, I need to get some clarification.
Does this only check for new posts since your last visit? or Does it check the actual unread posts you have? I currently use PaulM's Unread Posts mod and it has the option to do either one. Personally, I use the actual unread posts because I think that sometimes people (myself included) access the forums, need to do something else for a bit, click something else and now all the "new" posts are gone, even though they are unread. In anycase, I'm not trying to stop it from how it's working now (if that is how it works now), but would like to see the same option for defining what is an "unread post" as in Paul's mod. Thanks! Counts the threads and posts made no matter what in the 24 hour period I do believe. I want this mod to be that of the same as Paul's then this one would rock.

Any word on whether this mod will be fixed to display actual unread posts for the user?

That's what I wanted to see just the unread posts and after you read it, it will reset the unread posts.

Yes exactly. I had to disable this mod because it was causing a lot of confusion. Members with NO unread posts still had their New Posts count incrementing.

From his profile: "Note: All of my products are supported, but I'm busy with my main job, so please be patient when asking for support."
So hopefully that means yes! (p.s. maybe he's hard at work on updating his Advanced Forum Statistics mod?) ![]() No members have liked this post.

Nevermind! I got it to work, but I do have another question. How do I keep the New Posts In option when it moved over to the What's New tab? Is that possible? Great mod, btw! Thanks!
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I've uploaded this, followed all the instructions, but nothing is showing up. I just updated tonight and I had the older version of this and it worked fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Kind of a crappy screenshot, but...![]() No members have liked this post.
