Members who have visited (Sideblock)

For vBulletin 4.1.0 Onwards
Versions Attached 4107: vBulletin 4.1.0 to 4.1.7 4108: vBulletin 4.1.8 to 4.1.10 4111: vBulletin 4.1.11 to 4.1.12 4200: vBulletin 4.2.0 (+) This modification is not available for vBulletin 4.0.x Please remember to click Mark as Installed if you use this modification. Please fee free to nominate this modification for the MOTM, and/or use the donate link provided (Support Developer). This modification adds the members who have visited display to the forum sideblocks. As per the main modification, this cannot count guests, it is members only. Note: This is untested on vBulletin 4.0.0, but I think it should be fine. The main features are as follows ; 1. It displays in the Forum Sideblocks (Default Display Order = 1). 2. Invisible users are only displayed to those allowed to see them (with a "*") 3. Users who should display as coloured or bold etc will be displayed correctly (based on the display usergroup). 4. If you 'hover' over a username it will show the time they were last active. 5. An option to record and display the Most Ever Members can be enabled. 6. The switch between Visited Today and Rolling 24 Hours is an ACP option. 7. The list view is collapsable, so you just see the number . 8. The display can be set as always collapsed on initial page load (however, this can have odd results as the display is cached). (Options are in vBulletin Options > Who Has Visited Today Block) Please note this sideblock uses the block cache system, so it will always be slightly behind realtime in its display - the cache ttl is set to 5 minutes. To install just unzip the XML and import into vB using the ACP Product Manager. Support Support & Bug fixes will be provided for vBulletin 4.2.0 onwards. Limited support will be provided for vBulletin 4.1.8 - 4.1.12 (No bug fixes). Support will not be provided for Alpha & Beta versions, or anything prior to vBulletin 4.1.8. Low priority will be given to posters who do not have this marked as installed In some cases, support can only be provided if I have an admin login and ftp access. Not really sure what you mean, since this will only ever show registered members.

It looks like the vB 4.04 upgrade has broken this. I'm now getting a blank box ("There are no visitors to list at this moment.").
Edit: strange - the list population is actually sporadic. Sometimes the names are there, most of the time they're not. No members have liked this post.

I set the cache to 0 and that solved the issue.

Go to forum block manager and select the Who has visited block and edit. You'll see the cache, set it to 0

*sigh* IB really are testing my patience - WTF do they have to keep changing things and breaking mods, it really makes me want to just give up.
It seems that 4.0.4 has somehow f**ked the way the block is compiled and then cached, which is why it appears ok every so often (every time the cache expires, then it reverts to the broken cached copy again).

Yep, setting it to zero bypasses the screwed up caching. TBH, I think thats going to be the perm fix.

4.0.7 Released
This should work correctly with the caching changes in vb 4.0.4 - however on first upgrading you will need to clear the existing cache (or just wait 5 minutes for it to expire). The latest version should still work ok in older versions of vb 4.0.x

What caching changes are in 4.0.4? I didn't see that anywhere.

Grr. Hmm...I just installed the update and now I'm getting a blank box again. It has been half an hour now.
What cache do I need to clear? Is it the Purge Cache under the Forum Blocks manager? If so, I did that and it has had no effect. Any thoughts? No members have liked this post.

The way that html/php blocks are cached has changed in 4.0.4.
