vB Version: 4.0.1 Rating: (10 votes - 3.70 average) Installs: 41
Released: 29 Jan 2010 Last Update: Never Downloads: 197
Not Supported Uses Plugins Auto-Template Additional Files External Content

Note; This is a port of my 3.8 mod to vB4, and so it has all the same features.

3.8.x Version: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=224506

Add Radio Page to your site with last.fm!

1] Upload radio.php
2] Import product_mikeylastfm.xml
3] Configure to taste
4] Enjoy!

COPYRIGHT!!
All the code (minus the last FM code) was coded by me (mikey1991) and it took me a while to do, all for free so while I realise that the base code in itself is not my property, I would appreciate my copyright notice is left intact.

Features:

Embeds a Last.FM Group playlist into your site, on a new page.
Adds new navtab, with on/off controls in acp
Adds "Info" fields next to the embedded player, customisable from the admincp
Adds links to your group on the same page.
Personal, Artist, or Group playlist supported.
Multi Radio Player Ability (not reccommended)

Troubleshooting:

I get "Not enough content", why?

1] You MUST be logged into Last.FM - it's free, so create an account.
2] Does your group have more than 2 members and has it been up for more than a week?
3] Does the artist you've chosen exist?
4] Does the user you've chosen exist?

If you answered "no", to either of those, feel free to use my group, or try out a popular group/artist/user on last.fm.

Yeah, go to the plugins section, and add target="_blank" to the links in the "Nav-Tab" plugin.

how about a word of warning about some of the pictures on the forum link that you provided to see a demo. No offense, cause i think you create some really awesome mods, but my kids (3 and 4) were standing right next to me when that popped up.

GREAT mod.

One question: I know the radio on last.fm requires a paid subscription (outside of the 30 track free trial). Is this the same with this mod? Users will only get a free trial to listen to the radio, and then have to pay to keep listening?

Can you modify the radio station feed?

Is that allowed or not?

I never had any issues with listening to tracks on last.fm - even with the 30 track free trial, and I listened to it for hours and hours with no problems. Maybe it's something they've introduced recently?

Yes, the options allow to input a band, artist, group, or profile.

Weird, won't take your group or my group or our playlists but will take artists. Is your site up to date on 4.1.0 PL2? Love this mod a lot. If it takes some money to get it working and brand free I am all for it.

Other thing, for some reason when you click the tab it doesn't highlight the tab, for instance, if you click on Forum or Blogs or What's New? it bolds that tab, when I click on the one for radio it doesn't do that. Also, I made a few edits to your code. Copyright is all intact and didn't do anything with that. Just made it say last.fm and my site's radio instead.
