Love your work, Valter.

Just went from GCBOS to this, really big difference (to the greater).

Only problem I have, and I see many other also requests this, is to use it flexable as a widget.
Or actually my aim is to only have the chat on one custom page in the CMS.

Have also tried to add it to different stylesheets without succeeding.
For example just above the footer in vbcms_page.

Any directions how I can manage this.

Thanks,
Joel

This chat is awesome and is perfect for my board. But I was wondering one thing, is there away to make the width a little shorter because with the sidebar I have it make the category/forum part smaller. I would like the chat box to match that size. If you want to check out what I mean here's a link to my site. Of Age Wizards

I need a chat for my site that works ON THE NAVBAR and OPENS A NEW PAGE, and TELLS OTHERS THAT PEOPLE ARE IN CHAT.

Will your chat do what I need?

1- put a link on the Navbar

2- open a new page rather than extending the existing page by embedding

3- let other users know that someone is in chat (or let them be paged or notified).

If not, is there any chat for VB that will?

Thanks,

Nelson

None of the free ones have all those features. I'm not even sure the pay ones will send people away from your forum like that - is that really what you want?

Last pay chat I checked out was http://www.addonchat.com/features.html .

Help from someone that has this on their CMS page would be awesome!!!
sorry my english is bad (google translate is my friend)

There is a small trick.

First the chatbox to view the forum. Then look at the page source code and copy part because of the chatboxcode.

for vbulletim cms:
Create an html widget and insert the html code. that's it.

for vBadvanced CMPS:

Create a new template (for example: adv_portal_chatbox) and then insert the html code
then under-vba CMPS: Add module (module template) and then integrate the new template (in my example the adv_portal_chatbox)

when the chatbox is displayed in the forum - for example, under the navbar, you can put your browser to view the source code of the page.

You will have to find where the code begins with the chatbox and then stops

Example: When I start the chatbox code like this:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

and ends with:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

I added the chatbox, then updated a custom style and now my chatbox window is darker than I'd like.

I can't find for the life of me to change the color. Couldn't find anything in the additional.css, style vars, etc.

Any ideas?
