I was surprised that I couldn't find any graphic rank sets that modified the default Vbulletin 4.x gold rating star into different colors, so I thought I'd go ahead and do this myself. I wanted to use the same star icons but for user ranks, and in different colors to just gold, in order to maintain consistency throughout the default vbulletin 4 theme.

Instructions on editing the PSD:

The included PSD is a set of the 5 default gold stars but with a gradient overlay of two colors (one light, one dark), pointing at an angle the same as the default gold star.

By simply editing the two colors you'd like to use in the gradient overlay (such as light blue and dark blue), you can create any colored star you like, with the same "shine" effect the default gold star has.

I've included two sets of example stars - blue and red, with their HTML color coding in the file names.

All stars are transparent PNG with the PSD included.
