If those are both set right, what error are you getting exactly? If you want, send me a PM with the site and an account that has permissions to upload and I'll take a look. Dylan

Hi,
Thanks for this mod, it looks like what we were looking for moving forward from DownloadsII... However, I'm having trouble using the Import function. When I try to run it, after specifying the source and destination paths I get an SQL syntax error: Database error in vBulletin 4.2.0: Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO dbtech_downloads_categories (catname, catdesc, extgroupids, permissions) VALUES ( 'Amigahellas Magazine', 'Amigahellas, the magazine', '2', 'a:3:{s:4:\"view\";a:1:{i:0;i:6;}s:8:\"download\";a:1:{i:0;i:6;}s:6:\"upload\";a :1:{i:0;i:6;}}', ); MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 7 Error Number : 1064 Request Date : Friday, June 15th 2012 @ 03:21:41 AM Error Date : Friday, June 15th 2012 @ 03:21:42 AM Script : http://www.*****/admincp/vbdownloads...step=4&mod=dl2 Referrer : http://www.****.gr IP Address : ***** Username : MiDWaN Classname : vB_Database MySQL Version : 5.1.63-rel13.4 Any ideas why this comes up? The syntax seems correct to me... :-/ No members have liked this post.

On closer inspection, should that last comma be there in this line?
'a:3:{s:4:\"view\";a:1:{i:0;i:6;}s:8:\"download\";a:1:{i:0;i:6;}s:6:\"upload\";a :1:{i:0;i:6;}}', looks like that might be the problem? No members have liked this post.

OK, I managed to fix the problem by editing the class_import.php file and remove the extra comma there... ;-)

In VBdownload, is it possible to have the number of files available for download by category ? Thank you No members have liked this post.

looks like a good mod, just wish the download comments were more consistent with the rest of vBulletin. Same structure as blog or cms comments would be ideal in this mod. That floating in comment box just doesn't rub me the right way

Tried myself, no luck. Just seems too plain without some images on the page. Anyone been able to do this?

This way there also isn't so much blank space on the page. I think the overall look would be a lot better.
You could also just add another input like you have for "Category Image" and call it "Category Description Image" that would center any image you input in the Category Description area and hyperlink it to the category page. No members have liked this post.
