vBSSO is a vBulletin plugin that helps you connect to different software platforms like content management systems, blogs, and online stores using a secure Single Sign-On

The system has two components. First, there’s a vBulletin plugin that creates an interface for authenticating, controlling access, and managing user profile data. The second component is plugins for other platforms (like WordPress) that teach it to talk to vBulletin and exchange data. Here’s a list of support platforms.

It should be, at least it works on our vBulletin 4.1.10 and 3.3.x installations.

Any chances that support for vBulletin 3.8.x might be forthcoming? A large number of boards, especially Big Boards, are still relying on vB 3.8.x given its general stability over vB 4.

Mostly. I recently switched over to storing stylesheets as files and found that unless I turn this mod off while I'm saving those changes, it'll say that it can't write to the stylesheet directories. Ownership and permissions are fine and it saves the stylesheets as it should when this mod is disabled.

It is pretty annoying to have to remember to shut this off every time I touch something else that will force a stylesheet save. Anyone else have this issue?

We are still collecting the votes to make this vB 3.8 compatible. If somebody wants to have this version, you are welcome to leave the comments here.

I guess you have no documentation on how we can integrate out own scripts with VBSSO and vBulletin?

Eg. my own CMS integrated with vB

Confirmed, unfortunately we had to uninstall the mod because of it.

question, i have an active wordpress blog and just installed a vbulletin forum for it, will this make my wordpress registered members registered members on the forum?

Not really, vBSSO makes vBulletin registered members registered members on wordpress.

Yes, it works in case if you have vBulletin and WordPress installed on different domains, however it is not able to to connect two vBulletin forums yet.

I have sent you a simular message via your site. Would like to start a conversation to see if this is something you would be willing to explore and do either through here or as a paid project. I am not sure the vbnetwork modification is being supported anymore and or I would like some additional functionality but what "it" does is along the lines of what I am hoping for.
