WTF? Was this just announced a few minutes ago? I see the CNN article was only posted about 16 minutes ago as of my post. http://edition.cnn.com/2011/10/05/us...e-jobs/?hpt=T1 I don't get surprised easily, but that. That did it.

I have never been a fan of Steve Jobs or the iphone/ipad as I have no use for either of them, but his death was a shock I wasn't ready for.

That is a shocker! I don'y use them either...but sad nonetheless.

I've never really been a devote of any particular company. I go with what works for me. But I wasn't ignorant of his contribution to things like PIXAR and technology in general. There are just some things that never would have exited without him. He will be missed, I'm sure more by his family, but by the world nonetheless.

Such a sad day. Thanks Steve for your creativity and excellence in design. Let's wait others continue yor legacy. He is a guy who came from humble beginnings and became an enormous success living life on his own terms. It is surely the end of an era. It is a really sad day. Rest in Peace!
