moving hacks to a new style
I have lots of hacks and custom templates, is there a way to move them to a new style easily?

Template edits yes, you simply create a new child style of the style that has the template edits and either change that style to look how you want or import that style to your new place and customise there or add additional css....etc
"Hacks" you just re-install them at the new destination.
