My New Laptop!!!

I just got a new laptop today. Its a gateway and ohh it is nice to have a working laptop again.. my last one didnt even have a space bar... But now I am back in action. It has Win XP Home >< and 1.07GHZ 20 MB 256rm and a 14.1 screen... I am so happy ^_^

I know how great it feels I got a new one a few weeks back
a fujitsu 1.2 gig athalon processor, 15 in screen, dvd/cdrw combo drive, 20 gig hd, and a few othewr nice toys
came running XP home has since been changed over to Pro

And over the weekend i got the wireless network running again, so i can happily glean knowledge from all you much smarter than me vB gurus from anywhere in the apartment

Congrats on the newest addition, use it in good health!

Same here! Just got a new laptop last weekend. A client bought me the wireless stuff but its not here yet. I cannot wait!!!!!!

Thats my linksys router. Speaking of which, one of my clients ordered me a wireless router and pc card for the laptop. But do you know I can just add one router into another? Or am I going to have to replace the current router all together?

I think you can do this with a cross over cable. If not, the Linksys routers can handle being daisy-chained up to 255 machines. Just hook a 10base-t cable in a post in each router. Should work.

I didn't notice the 20 MB HD. Can you actaully load ANYTHING on that?

I've got a wireless 4 port (with 1 ethernet port) set up but Im pretty sure cditty is right about the crossover though...
