I agree. You need to increase the contrast to make it more readable.

To hard to read??? Hmm, thats odd everyone else on my forums don't seem to think so at all. I've viewed my forums on all my computers at home, at school, and at work and they seem to look fine. In the past when I had my forums on another server with 120 members none of them seemed to think so either. What part is difficult to read again? The text infront of the background image?

It's the text against the firstaltcolor and secondaltcolor. I can read them, but the contrast is pretty low. I would just lighten up the 'alt' colors a bit.
