ok we all know what a news ticker is so can someone if its possible see if they can make a hack where the contents of a thread are displayed on forum home in a ticker so it scrolls along the screen.

This way members can add to the thread and the news would scroll along the top.

This can be done, it is a cross between a cron job writing to a xml file and the going to an applet
