Mark thread as "solved"
Is there such a hack? I run a tech support forum and I think it would be helpful to have a hack users can mark as "solved".

Here you can see an example:
In the forum display a column (http://www.helpmij.nl/forum/forumdis...?s=&forumid=69): ![]() ![]() At the bottom of the thread ( http://www.helpmij.nl/forum/showthre...hreadid=195699 ) Status van de vraag : (state of the question) Vraag is opgelost (question is solved) Vraag is niet opgelost (question is unsolved)

im certain this is already released under a differetn name but cant think of name.
When someone does a post only they or admin see the icon to say whereever the thread has been solved or something and then they click the button and it gets moved to a solved section or even closed. someone will remember the name - its something like help thread or soemthing No members have liked this post.

Wouldn't something like this entail a thread multi-moderation modification? You know, something that allows you to close a thread and marked it [Resolved]?

Almost, that is a function for only the moderators. It's better that the thread poster can click "resolved" himself! And closing it isn't good because there is a possibility that an other answer is better...
