Only Allow JPG and PNG as User Avatars

I do not know, why this is not a standard vBulletin feature. You can actually upload EXE files to your board... If the EXE file is not too large, that is. Somewhy, vBulletin renames all uploads and gives them GIF extension... (Hello, Jelsoft!!!) And this is a major potential security flaw. But anyway, here it is - the extension restriction. Enjoy. As an attachment I have the german translation of the installation guide Another question: May the hack be posted at www.vbhacks-germany.com ?? We also only allow licensed vB Users to download vB stuff. Yours Markus No members have liked this post.
