I want to change the outside border color

Hi all,

I am trying to change the outside color of the forum page from the standard purple to something a little lighter.

www.michianaonline.com/vbulletin

can someone tell me how to do this? I went to the template---> modify area in the admin cp but it has no option there for that.

Thank you for your help.

I did what I did on my forums by putting the following in the table outer extra field when modifying a style: style="1px solid #RRGGBB"

RRGGBB is a hex color code, like 000000 for black, FFFFFF for white, FF0000 for red, etc.

Perhaps I am being dense, but when I put that code in the field specified, I am not seeing any changes.

Is anyone here on AOL IM?

FWIW You can pick a hex color by clicking around here: http://www.webdesignforums.net/tools/colorpicker/

I want the whole area to be white so, I entered FFFFFF

however there is no change. I wonder, do I need to actually use quotes, and am I supposed to have the word style in there?

PLs advise

I finally found the answer I needed. The one I was supposed to modify was in the body tag area under bg color.

Thank you for your help anyway though filburt

All you have to do is edit the bgcolor tag in the body box in the style settings. That easy.
