Hey,

I have added a background image to my forums and its fine, however when you get on to viewing a thread the background image repeats it's self over and over at the beginning of each persons post, how do I stop this from happening?

What's the CSS you're using for the background? Looks like you just need to add some repeat conditionals to control the way it repeats -- similar to background { #000000 url(path to image/image.jpg) norepeat top left; }

Yeah that seems to work for the index and the forums when they are displayed but when you open a thread, at the beginning of every persons post the bk repeats over and over like in the picture i posted...I can't seem to fix this :$.

I seem to also be having the exact same problems with my new style. The postbit seems to repeat the .page bg even with the addition of the no-repeat top entries. Its really quite irritating. I've looked throughout the entire postbit and threadbit templates but cant seem to find a hint of the error nor a .page reference on those pages. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I've managed to fix this little problem.

The source of the problem is the template file called spacer_open. It has the class page in it which causes the multiple bg repeats. To fix it, create a .page2 set in the css. Transfer everything into that except the picture. Make sure you edit the spacer_open template classes to page2. Then go to your header, find the spacer_open tag at the bottom and replace it with something like this:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Hope that helps anyone else with the same problem
