[AJAX] Post Thank You Hack

Post Thank You Hack 4.5 About this hack: One of the biggest problems on forums as you may know is 'posts boosting'. There are users who LOVE to say 'thanks' when ever they can. How can it hurt? Their post count goes up, they have nothing to loose. There are also users who really like to express their thanks to post but don't like posting a post that looks like they're post boosting. Then comes the moderators who have to delete people's thanks yous so a thread can look readable with out the thanks yous thrown around. Finally comes the posters of these useful posts. They have no idea how many people really likes their posts if only some people say 'thanks'. What this hack does is fix ALL these problems - except those users who like post boosting. This places a button called 'thanks.' When a user clicks on it, it places his username in a box right under the post saying that so-and-so says 'thanks' for the post. Every-one who clicks is placed in one box. By giving your users the extra feature, you forum will look allot nice and organized. It is a granted liking by ALL the members of your forum. Features:

for me the Show all Thanks Link in the Memberprofiles don't work: Example: http://www.worldofhiphop.de/communit...h.php?do=Suche nachthanks&u=15775 I use the German Edition, what can I do? No members have liked this post.

I am using it on RC2, not explored it fully yet but there are no obvious problems that I can see. No guarantees though.

Ok, I do have a small problem. What is the $post_thanks string to show how many thanks a post has received? Just the post, not the overall total. No matter what I do I seem to end up with a user's total thanks and I can't see the correct phrase in the XML file either. If you could name the $post_groan string that does the same thing for groans, I would be very grateful.

Ohhhhhhhhh wait a second, I misread it. It only counts how many thanks a post gets but you can't actually show how many thanks a post gets? It's not phrased. Or if it's not good for the database to be able to use per-post counts instead of over-all counts.
Would it be outrageous to promise that you will be showered with a thousand young maidens and the people will line the streets with rose petals wherever you walk from this point onwards if you phrased thanks/growls per post? That would be absolutely fantastic, on mah knees beggin'.  No members have liked this post.

*presses Thanks button*If I could make a big wish for this mod, it would be to be able to show all the post a member has Thanked. "Find all posts thanked by Abe1." Secondly, it would be fun to be able to "Find all posts thanked by my buddies." What do you think, Abe1? Do you think this would be hard? No members have liked this post.
