The Glowhost Spam-o-Matic add-on at http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=248042 also has options for checking posts (all, under a certain post-count, or new registrations only) and sending them to moderation. As far as I can tell, it does everything your add-on does.

To be blunt, yours appears to be seriously over-priced.

If I was going to post then the above says it all.
I've used Spam-oMatic for 2 years now, and it does everything and more than this lite version or the Gold version, and the Spam-O-Matic is free and works great.

Even when Spammers get through the registration, there are lots of settings set up which stops any Spam coming through, urls, words many things, it has some great options built into it.
You should try it.

Hi there,

I use GlowHost since it's available. It's free - free in this way doen't mean free of charge - and it does its work.

With GlowHost we can use StopForumSpam and Akismet, and we can check not only against eMail, we can check against IP and Username, too. I only check against eMail and IP, in the last two years I had not one spam post.

I don't think so, I have the price to pay for your mod. And that's my business.

So there must be some very good reasons why I should change from GlowHost to yours, this reasons I don't see.

It is true, this mod is overpriced and doesn't rival spam-o-matic to justify the cost. It would be foolish to swap out spam-o-matic for a paid product (wayyyyy overpriced at that) when there is something that is just as good if not better here on vb.org that is free.
