If you're using Noppid's vBPicGallery (http://www.cpurigs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2056) and you're using Redlines Lightbox/Thickbox (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=126501), here's how to make them work together if you wish to include a lightbox for viewing your images in your galleries.

Template edits 3:

In vbpicgallery_imagebits replace all the code with the following:

<a rel="gallery-thumbs" class="thickbox" style="cursor:pointer; cursor-hand" href="$vboptions[bburl]/vbpgimage.php?$session[sessionurl]do=full&amp;p=$image[vbpicgalleryid]">
<img src="$vboptions[bburl]/vbpgimage.php?do=thumb&amp;p=$image[vbpicgalleryid]" alt="$image[name]" border="0" />
</a>

In vbpicgallery_viewgallery after $navbar add:

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/thickbox.js"></script>

In headinclude find:

<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT=='showthread' OR THIS_SCRIPT=='showpost'">

Replace it with:

<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT=='showthread' OR THIS_SCRIPT=='showpost' OR THIS_SCRIPT=='vbpicgallery'">

That should do it, you should get results like these attached images.

UPDATE:

I have included a .js file to replace the file in http://www.yoursite/forums/js

thickbox.js in the zip file comments out the Prev Next buttons in the thickbox because of some TB_Count errors they generate on newer versions of vBPicGallery.

Unzip the file and copy it up to your http://www.yoursite/forums/js directory, overwriting the one there.

I did try this today and i just couldn't get it to work right, the picture wouldn't pop up as shown in your attachments above, they would appear at the bottom of the page, about 10 miles down......I think it is a thickbox issue, not you mod.......
thanks though.......i appreciate you hard work

Installed but I'm experiencing an error. For some reason the lightbox shows any images starting from 22 instead of 1. For example in the attached thumb it shows 3 images in a test gallery but identifies them as images 22, 23 and 24 of 26 images. There are no images between 1 and 21 and 25 to 26.

This error occurs on any gallery, no matter how many images are included. Its always first 21 blank and 2 blank after the last image. Any idea why this may be?

I'm not really sure why that's happening?

FFW and Greg did anyone get it fixed so that the image numbers are correct?

|oR|Greg

I've never looked into it actually. I am yet to update to the newer gallery and as such, still don't have any problems. I don't know about FFW.

Neither has FFW, if you get a chance to upgrade please let me know if you get it working.

That just a rename in the language and phrases, it's Noppids latest Vbpicgallery :)

I hope he doesn't kill you for that.... cause you know the drama between him and TriGunFlame about the gallery/garage?

I did not, I will fix it. It ended up changing accidently when I tried to change the nav text.

Greg since the image numbers are all messed up can you tell me how to remove those links from the image including the "prev" and "next" links.

|oR|Greg

I'll look into it, it's more then likely in the .js file.

You're welcome. If you decide to look inside the .js file, the section I commented out with the // is all about the counting.. so if you feel like experimenting and correcting the math, it will fix the problems you're having and you'll be able to keep the next/prev buttons.

I will retry this mod........The problem i ran into is that i have a thumbnails mod in vbpicgallery. So my mod and your mod were confusing each other.....

Thanks for keeping this mod up todate........hotwheels

Does this hack only work with red lines? I have the highslide mod from this link installed (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=139167&highlight=highslide)

Will your mod and this highslide mod work together?

I am about to buy vbpicgallery, but would really like some kind of highslide / light box integration.

I could not find the text in the headinclude file.

I found the text, its from the redgoals22 mod

I have tried and tried to get this mod to working. To start with I was using the mini2 highslide mod, so I totally removed that an did a fresh step by step install of redlines.

When I click on the image, the picture appears a mile down the screen.

Do you have the latest version of VBPic gallery installed? The new version has built in lightbox effect.

The new version took about about 10 - 15 minutes to upgrade, and my users love the new effects.
