View Full Version : SQL Problems when approving users...

I've been having this problem when Moderating Users... I'll have a list of 100-200 users pending moderation, and when I go to approve them, only ~5-10 get approved before I get a "File download" window for user.php about 15-20 seconds later. The "File download" window also pops up for ipinfo.php when I try to lookup a user's IP info for a post.

I'm not sure if this is SQL related, apache related, or even client related. At first I thought it was client related, but (I'm using Firefox) using IE, I get the "Cannot Load Page" error instead of a file download error.

My boards have from ~400-800 concurrent users, and this happens when both the server loads are high and low (low being under 1); although I think more users get approved when the server loads are low.

If anyone has ideas, please let me know, thanks :)

Looking at the apache conf, Timeout is set at 15 -- but it shouldn't take 15 seconds to approve 100-200 users....

For IP lookups you have to add some index, can't remember what it was. For the user moderation open a ticket looks like a bug.
