viker, i had same problem...

The original image files are 174 x 174

what i did was change bg3.gif and bg4.gif images to colour nearest the image colour...
altered size to 50px x 1500px

works perfect now....well better

hope this helps

might not be an elegant solution, but its my first time at using and editing styles, and it works until the update is released

That's a nice idea Nuclion, maybe I could make a release with the same theme but without the WoW logo :)

Lee Wisener
05 Mar 2007, 00:30
Just noted a small issue, not with the skin but with integration using vbadvanced. See here:

stormwind-alliance.com

Note the reapeating element on the right side.

Any Ideas?

Lee

egtrix
05 Mar 2007, 00:45
Thanks Lee for your posts and glad that you like it. Yes that will be fixed in the next version, the idea is that vbadvanced repeats a part of the image background, I will try fixing that through CSS

egtrix
05 Mar 2007, 01:01
Here is the solution for the vbadvanced problem, Please goto your admincp>Styles&Templates>Edit Templates>
Then under vbAdvanced CMPS Templates, edit the template named "adv_portal"

Search for:
<table align="center" class="page" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%">

And replace with
<table align="center" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%">

Lee Wisener
05 Mar 2007, 18:56
Perfect, thanks.

Its not often you see such a quality template on offer for free, thanks again.

Synth
05 Mar 2007, 19:50
Thanks egtrix, this style rocks. Best one I've found yet! I have installed vBAdvanced recently. I tried the adv_portal fix but unfortunatly it did not work for me.

Also, i don't know if this matters, but I have the same problem on the forum aswell.

Once again thanks for your time and effort!:)

egtrix
07 Mar 2007, 03:30
You are always welcome Lee :)

Glad that you like it Synth, are you using vbadvanced columns on other pages but the forum home?

Synth
07 Mar 2007, 17:05
Maybe easier if you looked ;)
Linkage (http://www.hop-guild.com)

The vBAdvanced page has the issue aswell as when you go to look at the forums.

egtrix

Thanks Synth, I will check it

oninuva, no, I have checked the fan kit before I did that design and I didn't use it.

Omg this is a great skin when i saw this i was 'OMG I NEED THIS FOR MY FORUM' however i uploaded all the images into my image root of the forum and uploaded the XLMm file using the Admin panel and got the following message..

This file was created using a different version of vBulletin from the one you are running.

Your version: 3.6.5
File version: 3.6.4

Is there going to be a skin compatible with the 3.6 Range i hope there will be =D

egtrix
26 Mar 2007, 09:04
Thanks for your post Londonladadz and glad that you like the WoW Style skin :)
This skin will work fine on vb 3.6.5 as there are no template changes between 3.6.4 and 3.6.5 , all you have to do is to check the check box to ignore the skin version in the installation page in your admincp.
And yes there will be future versions of this skin as I will be launching my WoW site soon, and it will be the place to get this skin updates and other WoW skins and stuff as well.

Great skin. But how about making a skin for DotA

DotA is another one of those "Warcraft extensions" and the gfx works would look way better imo .

Hi,

I see that you put a PSD for the Buttons online.
I open it but don't find a text layer. Is there also a version of the PSD aviable so that I can change the Buttons or make also new ones?

Thnx very much for the great Design :)

Greetings

This is an excellent style, and I've switched to it permanently. There is still one issue I'm having with it, if you are able to assist me.

www.mediononline.com

At the top left, directly under the logo and to the left of where it says the guild name - information, is a link. When on the forums, it directs me to the main forum page. When on the portal, it leads to an error.

Where can I edit this link? I've searched within the templates, but was unable to find it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
