Well this is a fun one for April 1st.

It randomizes the posts texts every posts into 6 possible crazy displays.

1. Left to Right & Reverse
2. Red Background for Posts
3. Small texts
4. Big texts
5. Line Through all text
6. Letters Spread out

This uses CSS so it should be browser compatible across the board.

To install just import product xml via into product manager and activate it via vboptions

Nice one :)

*edit* I've installed, but all posts look the same - including all made after installing it. Does it work for admins or do we see it as normal?

Hmmm. Nothing happens. I'm running vBulletin 3.6.8 Patch Level 2. I posted 3 posts with testuser, and they all look normal (even from the testuser).

It works, but all of the posts (inlcuding the old ones) get the same screwing up. It also disturbes the Ajax Fisheye-menu so I have to pass on this. It would be cooler if just the new posts today get the crazy formatting.

I don't know buddy about fisheye menu and I tought it's unnecessary for the new posts today getting to the crazy formatting display because install this hack just for today

Hee Hee, Good one!

I just combined this with the [you] add-on and posted a note that it appears the forums were messed up after [you] clicked on a bad link.

Can you choose only certain forums and not others?

Some of our forums are very serious and playing jokes in them would be inappropriate but others it would be fun.

The only thing I see is that all the posts have lines through all of the words. Is that all there is? Everything else looks normal.

I downloaded it, nothing happened, then I uninstalled it when I found the updated xml file, then I uploaded just the updated XML file and selected yes to any updates. Did I do it correctly?

I don't see anything backwards or out of place?

Has anyone got this working yet?

thompson

i have it working.

you have to do the following:

edit postbit template so, that this is the exact code:

change that:
<div id="post_message_$post[postid]">
$ad_location[ad_showthread_firstpost_start]
$post[message]
</div>

to that:
<div id="post_message_$post[postid]">$post[message]</div>

clear the spaces between the divs and clear the $ad...... Problem are the spaces and the different code. thats it.

on april 2nd, restore the template.

sorry for bad english.

The "1. Left to Right & Reverse" is not working on my site.

Only the periods, exclimation, question marks, etc. appear to be out of order. :erm:

Edit the XML file as follows.

Find:

$_replace = '<div style=\"unicode-bidi:bidi-override; direction: rtl;\">$post[message]</div>';

There are 2 instances of that in the XML.

Replace both with:

$_replace = '<div style=\"direction:rtl;unicode-bidi:bidi-override;\">$post[message]</div>';

Re-import the product, make sure to set "Allow Overwrite" to Yes. That should fix the Right to Left issue, it worked for me.

I am bumping this thread in the time for annual April fools day pranks.

Can you add usergroup permissions to this?

I would like only my registered members to see this
