Automatic Title Quotes In Replies
Small Showthread SEO Enchancement
From: Search Engine Optimization Services (http://seovb.com)Automatically quote the thread title in your members replies. Yes this option can be turned on by default in the AdminCP, but for those users who didnt turn this on till well after your forum started, or want this on automatically you can modifiy the postbit(_legacy) templates to have it appear automatically.

This will increase your keyword density on the showthread pages, by automatically quoting all replies regardless of the AdminCP setting.

1. Login to vBulletin AdminCP
2. Click on Styles & Templates -> Style Manager
3. Locate the postbit (or postbit_legacy template depending on which you use)
4. Find and replace the following code:

Find:
<if condition="$show['messageicon'] OR $post['title']">
<!-- icon and title -->
<div class="smallfont">
<if condition="$show['messageicon']"><img class="inlineimg" src="$post[iconpath]" alt="$post[icontitle]" border="0" /></if>
<if condition="$post['title']"><strong>$post[title]</strong></if>
</div>
<hr size="1" style="color:$stylevar[tborder_bgcolor]" />
<!-- / icon and title -->
</if>

Replace with:

<!-- icon and title -->
<div class="smallfont">
<if condition="$show['messageicon']"><img class="inlineimg" src="$post[iconpath]" alt="$post[icontitle]" border="0" /></if>
<if condition="$post['title']"><strong>$post[title]</strong><else /><strong>Re: $thread[title]</strong></if>
</div>
<hr size="1" style="color:$stylevar[tborder_bgcolor]" />
<!-- / icon and title -->

5. Save

Again, yes this can automatically be turned on in the AdminCP, however if you turn it on after a thread has been created and replied to, it will not show up.

Nice Modification, but maybe it's a good idea to increase the minimal allowed words per post after the installation so you don't get a KWD of 30% and let Google think you stuff keywords;)

I would install it, if there is a possibilty to display it to guests only...

you don't have to edit any templates to forums who didn't turn this on :( you just have to run a query..
