If you need remove threads and posts columns from forum home and forum dislay, modify this :
Forum Home :
Forum Home Templates / FORUMHOME find :
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads]</td>
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td>
Replace with :
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads] --></td>
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td> -->

Forum Home Templates / forumhome_forumbit_level2_post find :
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads]</td>
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td>
Replace with :
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads] --></td>
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td> -->

Forum Display :
Forum Display templates / FORUMDISPLAY find:
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads]</td>
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td>
Replace with :
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads] --></td>
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td> -->

Forum Home Templates / forumhome_forumbit_level1_post find :

<td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads]</td>
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td>
Replace with :
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads] </td> -->
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td> -->

Hope help.

Isn't this going to break every users forum that follows your code? Leaving 4 </td> tags there doesn't seem to me to be correct.

This, as an example:
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads] --></td>

Should be this:
<!-- <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads] </td> -->

I think that this is one of those mods that you need to do before you do the "forums arranged in columns on forumhome" mod (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99829). Useful :up:

Hello,

I need to remove the threads column from my forum home. I spent the best part of Sunday working on this, but I'm not having any luck.

I just came across this thread, but:

* my forumhome_forumbit_level1_post template doesn't contain the above code;

* my forumhome_forumbit_level2_post template has no such code either;

* what's up with the left over </td> tags?

Could someone please point me the right direction?

Would you know how to remove the marked column? and also where to change the size of the column on the left containing the icon?

What I had to do was go into forumhome_forumbit_level2_post

and remove:

<td class="alt1">$forum[threadcount]</td>
<td class="alt2">$forum[replycount]</td>
