View Full Version : [design/style issue] Large useless blank part to remove

31 May 2010, 13:58
I use vb4.0.3 and Project Tools 2.1.0 and Internet Explorer 8 under Windows Vista.

I have an issue on the following page:

Below “Liste des bugs recensés pour vBulletin par les membres francophones.” and above “Voir la liste complète des rapports”, there is a large blank (about 2 cm high).

I would like to know how to remove this blank?

ps: Pitchoune, if you read this, don't just fix it directly on the website, I want to know the how-to. ;)

Think that bug is fixed in 2.1.1 because on the dev site it's normal.

The thing your looking for is called blockrow_table

I'll check that :)

It has a min-height value of 90px, we need to check if this is needed for every browser or not.

This was added into changeset 16 - testing it in each browser (seems to be for IE7 only IIRC).

min-height useless in projecttools.css - updating the product (looks correct in IE7/8, Firefox 3.6.4, Safari 4.0.5, Opera 10.60 Alpha 1 & Chrome 6.0.408.1 dev) :)

Thanks. Here is a manual fix:

.pt_project .blockrow {
padding-top: 5px;
padding-bottom: 5px;
border-top: solid 1px {vb:stylevar light_border.borderColor};
height: 90px; /* Thanks IE for your CSS non-support... */

And change the line with “Thanks IE for your CSS non-support...” to something else.

All CSS definitions for IE have its own template and the height value was put into this template (not anymore in projecttools.css).
