How many posts do you need to become a member on this board? I just hit the 25 mark, and I'm still not a member. lol

It's not posts. You need either $85 or $160 to buy a license for Vbulletin. Then you need to read the registration directions and see how you get the ability to download hacks.

So what you're saying is people who don't own a license can't download hacks? I see the point of this....so people who have pirated files can't add hacks, but for me, it sucks. I am going to be the administrator with another guy at an upcoming board, and he is the one with all the files and license stuff....so I won't be able to access hacks because I didn't buy the license? Yet I am the admin at a vB? Or can you have users use the same license for situations like me...where there are multiple admins who want to implement hacks. Thanks.

Justin Hancock,
Have your friend add your username to the Priority Support Forums page in the Members area at vb.com

You're allowed up to three for either site

Links:
For vbullrtion.ORG support:
http://vbulletin.com/members/vbulletin.org.php

For vbulletin.COM support:
http://vbulletin.com/members/forums.php

If he adds your Forum User Name to the vb.org form, then you should be able to download hacks and have access to everything else.

Guys, I don't think exodus is asking what you need to do to become a licensed member, but how many posts to advance from each level, title.

I am not sure, since it's been a day or so, but...

1-29 --> Junior Member
30-99 --> Member
100-enternity --> Senior Member

Hope this helps :)

You may be right for exodus :D , but my post was mainly for Justin Hancock, who is the co-admin that didn't buy the license and that's why I said you can have up to three usernames.

Yeah, your message was clearly address to Justin Hancock even if you didn't mention his name :D

I simply wanted exodus to get his answer, since he made a thread about it. I had the same query a few days ago, but found out the answer after advancing through the titles by posting and assisting more users.

Thanks Andy Potter! I'll bookmark this page and when the admin logs on next time, I'll show him it! :D
