What does it do?
You can donate money to someone and moderator or admin can give money

You must run 2 query's and add 6 templates

Functions
The functions are:

Give Points to someone
Users can donate

Bugs
There are no bugs

Why does a points hack need a donate option?

<a href="moderator.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=points&userid=$userinfo[userid]" target=_blank>
And yet this hack doesn't modify moderator.php.

Hmm..... suspicious.... ;)

EDIT:$field = "field5";
require("./global.php");And yet you run a query? I bet the query is useless and this is a Shinra Points rip. Oh, and you forgot two files.

Let me see how identical this and shinra points are.....

Shinra:$perms=getpermissions();
if (!$perms[ismoderator] and !$ismod=$DB_site->query_first("SELECT * FROM moderator WHERE userid=$bbuserinfo[userid]")) {
echo "<p>You do not have permission to do this!</p>";
exit;
}
This:
$perms = getpermissions();
if (!$perms[ismoderator] and !$ismod = $DB_site->query_first("SELECT * FROM moderator WHERE userid=$bbuserinfo[userid]"))
{
echo "<p>You have no permission to do this</p>";
exit;
}
Shinra:if ($HTTP_POST_VARS['action']=="dopoints") {
$userpointstr=$DB_site->query_first("SELECT $pointfield FROM userfield WHERE userid=$userid");
$pointstr = (int) $userpointstr[$pointfield];
$userpoint = 0 + $pointstr;
$pointamt = 0 + $amount;
if ($pointamt==0) {
$DB_site->query("UPDATE userfield SET $pointfield='$amount' WHERE userid=$userid");
echo "The point field for $username has been set to $amount successfully.<p><p><font size=+1>You can now close this window.</font><br>";
} else {
$pointstr = ($userpoint + $pointamt);
$DB_site->query("UPDATE userfield SET $pointfield='$pointstr' WHERE userid=$userid");
echo "$username has been given $amount Points successfully.<p><p><font size=+1>You can now close this window.</font><br>";
}
}
This:if ($HTTP_POST_VARS['action'] == "addpoints")
{
$upoints = $DB_site->query_first("SELECT $field FROM userfield WHERE userid=$userid");
$pointsereg = (int) $upoints[$field];
$usrpoint = 0 + $pointsereg;
$pointamt = 0 + $pointsgiven;
$pointsereg = ($usrpoint + $pointamt);
$DB_site->query("UPDATE userfield SET $field = '$pointsereg' WHERE userid = $userid");
echo "You have given $username $pointsgiven Points successfully.<p><br>";
}

VERY identical, but this one looks like you included donate.php, let me try to find similarities in that file.......

I have only included the shinra's points hack and those querys are for the donate function because when i put it in a variabel it gave parse error and the 2 files those where missing was a mistake of me i was trying to make a installation for the templates but it gave a parse error too

Why do this? There's already two hacks like this. The Shinra one already has a donate add-on and the Gold one I converted all the current add-ons for it to use. THis is very pointless.

easy to avoid parse errors, add a semi-colon or a } somewhere.

*Furtherly kills hack.*

Hmmm, looks like someone got ripped off...Anyone got the URL for the original Shinra hack?? I might consider using that one...I have GeForce's gold hack, but I can't find a way to subtract gold from posts in the forums, so I call it quality points, and award more for forums that contribute to content...

Now there's a hacker I respect, GeForce makes some of the most useful hacks here, and as far as I know, they're all very original ideas...

PM me, I have all the add-ons for the gold one including the one that let's you remove gold. I'll send it to you if you PM me.

BTW since I started the kill hack trend I get a piece of the killing actions :D
/me stabs the hack a few times and destroys the evidence
:D

PSI|Dr-X, stop making hacks that are ripped from other members, nobody appreciates it.

Try building a hack that is 100% your code, and then you might get the respect you're looking for.

Damn!

You guys are vicious! BTW Velocd, that vB3 Similar Threads hack looks like something that I saw being implemented in VB3 ... original is it?

Link14716

But the point is it was HIS code and there was NO hack released like it.

This is a rip of Shinra points, he just changed some stuff and gave inadequete instructions.

There was a donate hack add-on for Shinra Online's Point one so there was a hack like it released, it's just a big rip that's pointless.

He saw it on vB3 and decided to make it as a hack. I don't believe he took the coding from the makers of vB3 so the coding is 100% his.

That hack concept is from VB3, but the code is 100% completely original, even the methods used. :p

And speaking of that hack, I've found it to be very useful these past months, as it's quite surprising how accurate it can be ;)

Hacks for vB3 are COMPLETELY different since the code is different, so VeloCD actually did quite well to "port" that feature to vB2. So it wasn't a copy.

We've gotten over that already I believe >_>
