View Full Version : A Few Tips

10 Sep 2002, 10:28
Since becoming involved with vBT, I've been involved more than support than I ever dreamed of. :) Along the way, I've seen that most people fall prey to a few common mistakes that could be possibly avoided if a few precautions were taken. Even if you don't know much about editing HTML, you can still follow some of the tips included here and in the other threads to save yourself a lot of headaches.

After typing up all the tips, I realized that they were going to be way to long to include in a single post. So, I've posted them as individaul threads, so that any discussion will be limited to the specific tip and things won't get so confusing.

So, think of this post as a Table Of Contents for the following Tips:

[TIP] Use An External Text Editor (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1117)

[TIP] Save Your Templates (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1118)

[TIP] Use Comment Tags (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1119)

[TIP] Indent Table Elements (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1120)

[TIP] Debugging Your Code (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1122)
