Cool, I'm installing. :)

Rufus69
14 Jun 2003, 21:38
Slight problem...It won't take all the code...

I put in <table style="background-color:#EEEEEE; color:black; border:1px solid #BBBBBB" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5"><tr><td valign="top" bgcolor="#BBBBBB"><div style="font-size:50px; font-weight:bold; font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif; position:relative; top:-10px">"</div></td><td rowspan="2"><font style="font-size: 10px;">{param}</font></td><td rowspan="2" valign="bottom" bgcolor="#BBBBBB"><div style="font-size:50px; font-weight:bold; font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif; position:relative; top:25px">"</div></td></tr>
But it only uses <table style="background-color:#EEEEEE; color:black; border:1px solid #BBBBBB" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5"><tr><td valign="top" bgcolor="#BBBBBB"><div style="font-size:50px; font-weight:bold; font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif; position:relative; top:-10px">"</div></td><td rowspan="2"><font style="font-size: 10px;">{param}</font></td><td rowspan="2" valign="bottom" bgcolor="#BBBBBB"><div style="font-size:50px; font-weight:
I even tried putting it there manualy, but mysql I guess doesn't like that long of code..

Rufus69
14 Jun 2003, 21:48
ALTER TABLE bbcode CHANGE bbcodereplacement bbcodereplacement TEXT NOT NULL;

That was in the first version txt. :) Works nice now.

Dribbles
14 Jun 2003, 21:49
thnx :) So I just do that query with phpmyadmin then follow the instructions in the text file?

Rufus69
14 Jun 2003, 22:00
Yep. :)

Argh..10 chars...

Have you noticed that there is no spacing for the quote. Say you want to put it after some text it is directly against it?

Example:

Testing Testing. Put whatever here

I've put 3 returns (or pressed Enter 3x) after example yet it still touches the word. I've tried added a <br /> before the table and it still does it. Any ideas?

EyeCrave

Fixed it... I just put <blockquote></blockquote> around it and all is well now.

Looks like you got it working right.

But I would love to have this type of thing for vB2....I dunno if you can do that little quote cloud/bubble thing...but it looks hot!

you can change that in your config.php :

// ****** USERS WITH QUERY RUNNING PERMISSIONS ******

// The users specified here will be allowed to run queries from the control panel.

// See the above entries for more information on the format.

// Please note that the ability to run queries is quite powerful. You may wish

// to remove all user IDs from this list for security reasons.

$canrunqueries = '';

So I put the query like this. ^ ?

Schorsch

no!!

put in your user id

eg.

$canrunqueries = '1'

save your config.php, upload to the server.

then you can run querys from your admincp

first thing you need to do is download the zip file from the first post in this thread. Then if you are using beta seven of vb3 you need to copy my code into the quote template wich is under the bbcodes group.

I am having some problems.

I have put this code into the bbcode_quotes and it just is not working.

I get 2 quote boxes and in the quote area just shows param-- it doesn't show anything at all. I am on vb 3.0.1. I have to go into the style manager > bbcode layout and I have tried everything. I did a query and it went through.

I have also tried to revert that bbcode_quote back to original and it still shows up in some quote replies as the original and in others broken images.

I am at my wits end and surely it is something very simple. I am just missing it though. :(

Any help would be appreciated.

Sample of what is happening. And this is after I have reverted the bbcode_quote back to original. Sample of problem (http://forums.tantriconline.com/showthread.php?t=1147)

Edit: Fixed my problem.

I still can't seem to get it to work right though. :(
