Support

I use my released mods daily, if I find an issue with them or add features for myself I will release updates. If there are significant bugs or simple feature requests I will do my best to release fixes. Some of my mods rely on fetching data from 3rd party websites, due to the unreliable results, my mods will require users to troubleshoot for themselves if they find the addon is not working for them specifically. I am offering my personal mods that work ok for me for you to use, I am sorry I do not have time to troubleshoot many user specific issues. Thank you for your understanding.

Features

  • Allows your users to enter multiple servers and characters
  • Links to either US or EU WoW Armorys.
  • Templated so you can direct links somewhere other than the Armory if you wish.
  • Manually place menu in postbit with $wowchar_menu
  • Optionally automatically add to postbit*
  • Shows formatted links on user profile profile.
  • Unified profilefield compatible with gWoWEvents and gWoWRoster
*Automatic addition of menu may not work with all templates.

I installed, but the link isn't working, I just get the text that was typed into the profile field.

Gryphon 09 Mar 2007 01:36

Interesting, I will look into this.

*Edit: I am not sure what is causing this, the html that should be inserted into your postbit is nothing like what my templates look like.

Do you have some mod that changes the templates or anything?

memorex 09 Mar 2007 13:40

looks nice, will check it out when I get home. thanks for this.

AWESOME!

Many thanks, worked perfectly the first time.

Gryphon 10 Mar 2007 02:49

Thank you :)

Just uploaded v1.10, it now displays the links on the users profile and you can optionally change the display so it looks a little less cluttered.

I installed without any errors in the installation. However when I look at my forums all the threads and posts aren't showing. I created the profile fields and inserted the code for the postbits. I'm not sure what else to do, if I disable gWoWChar, all the threads will show.

Another great add-on! Thanks for the awesome work - I look forward to seeing more WoW and vBulletin integrations from you.

Gryphon 10 Mar 2007 20:22

Memorex, do you have an edited postbit? Do you have a link to your site?

memorex 11 Mar 2007 00:26

the postbit is a little edited, i did manualy add the $wowchar_menu to the default style and was testing with that style. none of the threads were viewable in any style heres the link to the website www.moskrayt.org/forums

Yet another great mod!

BlackJack, I love you man.

I'm having the same problem with just text being outputted. Nothing shows up on my user posts, just in the profiles.

I used a template I bought and then slightly modded.
